iPad Basic Training
iPad Basic Training is a one-day session that provides foundational instruction about the iPad. In these sessions teachers will take the first steps toward becoming an iPad expert. This professional development is designed for the iPad novice and will provide all the necessary training and tools needed to effectively start using an iPad in the classroom. Participants will learn:
How to personalize the settings
How to take, save and edit pictures
How to take advantage of the size and portability of the device
The training will incorporate fun, hands-on activities designed to help participants make the transition from novice to experienced user. Each participant will learn about a number of free apps designed to make the iPad an effective classroom resource. Participants will leave with ideas and skills designed to transform the use of these tools into powerful devices for instruction, management and student engagement.
BYOD - Bring Your Own Device - iPad 2 or 3 updated to iOS 7.0 or above.
These sessions are open to anyone. iPad Basic is a prerequisite for Infusing Technology.
