Five entries were selected as winners for the Center's first PSA Video Contest. Teachers worked with students in grades K-12 to produce stories that addressed the importance of responsible and productive global citizenship. First place winners received $500 minigrants for software/equipment to help infuse technology into the school's curriculum. Second place winners received a $250 minigrant for the same purpose. Congratulations to the teachers and students for their hard work, and for effectively integrating technology into their classroom instruction.

| 1st Place Title of Project: Music…The Universal Language Beverly Hills Middle School Teacher Nathan Kerr worked with students T’Asia Rankin, Dylan Parker, Alex Davis, Luke Hagley, Todd Childers, Anna Robinson, Sydney Swann-Burnette, and Allison Williamson to create a one-of-a-kind public service announcement. They convey the importance of music education in our schools through this unique perspective on language. |

1st Place Title of Project: Do You Have What It Takes To Be A Global Citizen? Pinch Elementary School This public service announcement was spearheaded by Betty Moore, principal, after she attended WVCPD’s Infusing Technology last year. Ms. Moore worked with teachers, Kathy Christian and Penny Rayhill, to encourage and support students Kaylea Hoffman, Matthew Darnell, Stratton Mandirola, and Hanna Schoolcraft in the creation of this PSA. These students have what it takes to be global citizens!
