Description:

Professional Practice Elective

This session is based on Charlotte Danielson’s Framework Domain 4: Professional Responsibilities. This session will explore topics such as:

*Reflecting on teaching

*Maintaining accurate records

*Communicating with families

*Participating in a professional community

*Growing and developing professionally

*Practicing professionalism

You may attend this session if you participated in the Beginning Teacher Academy last year.


Cost:
Cost: The registration fee of $20 includes breakfast and lunch Thursday, materials, instructors, and lodging,(if needed). Please pay the $20 registration fee online or mail to: WVCPD: 208 Hale Street, Charleston, WV 25301.

You are eligible to request lodging if you live more than one hour or 60 miles from the session location.

Audience:
This session is designed to accommodate the growing needs of new teachers. It is specifically for teachers who are in their first, second or third year of teaching and who attended the Beginning Teacher Academy last year.
