Session: Conflict Resolution Elective- Beginning Teacher Academy-Bridgeport Session

Description:


This session will increase skills in direct communication, mutual understanding, and cooperative decision-making. Participants in the Conflict Resolution elective course will examine the nature of conflict and effective approaches to address challenges with students, parents, and colleagues.

Cost:
The registration fee of $20 provides you with breakfast and lunch Monday, materials, instructors, and lodging (if needed). Please pay the $20 registration fee online or mail to: WVCPD: 208 Hale Street, Charleston, WV 25301.

You are eligible to request lodging if you live more than one hour or 60 miles from the session location.

Please note: You must cancel 48 hours prior to the session to avoid being charged for your room.

 


Requirements:
Audience: This session is designed to accommodate the growing needs of new teachers. It is specifically for teachers who are in their first, second or third year of teaching. The session will equip new educators with skills and practices to create effective well-managed classrooms.
