Session: U.S. History - Advanced Placement Fall Institute (Morgantown)

Description:

The focus of this session will be test strategies to help students be successful on the AP exam. Special attention will be devoted to the stimulus based multiple choice questions and writing for the AP exam. In addition, the session will focus on using the instructional planning report to maximize individual and class potential, including developing effective formative and summative test strategies.

Presenter: Becky Berry, AP U.S. History teacher at Morgantown High School in Morgantown, WV


Cost:
Early Bird registration is $50.00 for West Virginia teachers and ends on October 30, 2017.

Walk in registration is $75.00.

Out-of-state registration is $200.00. Lodging is not provided for out of state participants.

Requirements:
Teachers must attend the full day to receive a completion certificate.

Audience:
Participants should be AP U.S. History teachers who want to learn more about supporting their students as they prepare to take the AP U.S. History exam.
