GATE is the cornerstone of the Center’s professional development programs.
Designed to keep educators’ skills sharp and up-to-date, GATE sessions are
held throughout state to give teachers and administrators around West Virginia access
to this critical training resource.

the field is an intensive six-day program culminating in a comprehensive action

program. The Center’s Beginning Teacher Mentor Institutes provides teachers
new to the profession or new to the state with workshops and training to needed
to ensure a smooth transition into the world of teaching.
